I've seen pix of them and there are a couple being used regularly around Atlanta. Supposed to be a decent bike but never took and any that you see are ophans as the distributor went out of business. I have seen brand new ones go for about 1200 here as the dealers who had them just wanted them gone. Sym has a good rep for making engines as they are honda clones and many parts interchange. (don't know this firsthand, but just repeating what my local scooter guy told me). They also had some problems with their air pollution scheme and it would cause the bikes to run erratically or not at all. But, the scooter/motorbike guys have come up with ways to make them run better. All I know.

Riding my '81 C70 the other day and was stopped by a guy who wanted to
inquire about my Honda. He was from the US west coast and said that he had
ridden a Taiwanese reproduction of the C70 called a Symba. Seems there are
motorcycle dealers Ca, Wa, Or, that have the Symbas in stock.
According to him, they look just like a C70, but with tubular forks instead
of the Honda fork design. 12 volt also instead of 6. He said the price
was a little over $2000. He was an old cycle rider and was very impressed
with the bike when he rode it.
Anyone knowledgeable about this Symba?
