If it is complete and general decent and has good compression, $300 is a deal. I would pay that and I haven't seen it.

But with 2 years of inactivity I suspect both the carb and the gas tank have issues. What else could be a problem? His asking price is $300. Comments anyone? TIA,

Start by dumping the fuel ....it gets stail after 6 months ..the volatiles evaporate and youre left with dead fuel .
TAKE NOTE .. the volatiles ..the easily evaporatable portion of the fuel ...are what helps it start.
So drain the tank and the carb ...put brand new fuel in ...
Drain the oil ...put new in ..
Charge the battery..then check its good.
and youre probably good to go .
all the best.marklj
