I have trail tires on my 81 passport. And they are 2.50-17. And there's no rubbing at all. And they look really good on it My friend has a 3.00-17 gazelle on the back wheel of her passport and it has just enuff clearance but its cutting it to close for my liking But she has had no Problems with it
