Youre meant to just slightly loosen the screw ..then move the plate the points are mounted on by applieing levering action..to the points plate
there is a youtube video describing how to do it ..
search "honda c70 points"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACz_Nd0d2F4
if you were to take the flywheel off ..all will become apparent .
basically there is a cam that opens the points ...youre turning the engine over until the cam pushes the points the furthest apart ..so youre on the peak of the cam....this is the position for the adjustment.
Like i said ...its a bit hard to see whats going on with the flywheel in the way ..
you only need to take the flywheel off if replacing the points.
the cam is contained within the flywheel ./..so you cant adjust the points without this in place ..
