Subject: [Honda-C70] help -wheel spacing '80 passport
Hello everybody-
My name is Ryan and I have been bringing a 1980 passport back to life. I ordered new tires for it and ran into a problem with the front, after mounting the front wheel back on, the tire rubs on the fender, the wheel appars to be about 1/4 inch from center. i have the 200 page service manual and the parts manual, it appears i'm not missing anything, there is just one spacer on the nopn brake sideof the hub. i have compared it to a friends '80 and it seems identical. I have been stumped for 2 days, there doesn't seem to be anything to adjust- I am not sure how to proceed, this is the only thing preventing a test ride!
Any thoughts from anyone is appreciated.
thanks !
Ryan C
