It sounds like you may be burning oil . If your oil is black change it right away . My 81 will start burning oil if I don`t change it when it still looks like maple syrup rather than black & dirty . Best to keep the oil clean looking like honey. Reasons for oil burning ,dirty oil ,bad rings, bad valve guides. Possibly a bad gasket between the head & cylinder could let oil leak into the combustion chamber ,or a cracked block . Good Luck ! Baby Huey

My spark plug is fusing the electrode to itself and is really dark ( fouled )
I always thought I was running lean but I think im running really rich!
