The bottom of the float bowl . If you want to drain the gas tank . Make sure the petcock is set to off , remove the 2 screws holding it to the float bowl . When you pull it away from the float bowl make sure not to drop the O ring gasket & disk filter. Turn the petcock to reserve over a large enough container to hold all the gas to drain the tank completely. Hope this helps .Baby Huey`s 2 cents PS removing the petcock is much faster drain than the bowl screw but both will work.

On a 81 where is the drain screw? Page 4-9 of manual says: "Loosen the drain screw and drain the fuel thoroughly." Thanks for your help.
