[Honda-C70] Re: 1981 C70 Restoration

No additives!
The wet clutch does not like them. Not Diesel, not anything. Best way to go, is get a product from Shell called Rotella, Its a industrial grade oil. its passed by Honda for your Bike. Just keep changing it every 30 mins of driving time, and I mean driving time. For the wet clutch to really get clean it must be used. Get a gallon bottle of this oil. When your down to almost the end of the bottle, your good to go. Engine clean, Gaskets back to normal. I speak from experience on this. I had a C70 in bad shape with a bad oil leak. I bought this oil did the 30 min change. After the second change, 1 hour drive time the oil leak stopped. Its been running perfect ever since. I have before & after picks on here so you can see what shape the bike was in.

This should let the bike power flush itself. Probably change the oil for good measure after a little running as you can't really get all the old out.
