If you haven`t pulled the brass jet out of the aluminum carb body , do . Chlorinated carb cleaner will eat the aluminum if you leave it too long. Grab it with a pliers twist & pull . The brass wire from a BBQ grill brush ,yanked out of the brush ,is the only wire I have found that was small enough to fit through the tiny hole . The big hole you see on the end of the jet is NOT the jet size . If you don`t have a BBQ grill brush to rob , Walmart sell parts cleaning brushes in sets of 3 ,brass steel fiber ,that look like tooth brushes in the auto battery area .Good Luck! Baby Huey

Only thing I usually do is soak it for a few days in carb cleaner then blow it out with compressed air. Don't use a drill bit or a hard wire as you could damage it.

Who has a good solution to a small jet on my 1981 c70 that is clogged solid. Have tried and tried but it seems like it is solid as a rock.
