Subject: [Honda-C70] electric starter issues
I bought a new relay for my 80' Passport from dratv.com. However, the relay
that came from them doesn't have any mounting brackets like the original
relay. Anyone else experience this and what did you do?
Second question, the electric start works only some of the time. When I push
the button, either nothing happens or it starts. What might be going on
here? I read that sometimes the starter button can have dirty contacts and I
also read that the handle bars may not be properly grounded. I took the
starter button enclosure apart but I couldn't pull out the actual button
contact and clean them because it was just hard to get to. Any tips on
getting to this so I can clean those contacts? Thanks.
