How to file the points clean and square?
Or the gap to set the points at?
Unless the points are fairly new, just replace them. This bike uses a magneto ignition.
The relationship between the points surface and the rubbing block is critical. If the points
are that bad, then the rubbing block is worn and the points need replaced.
To set gap, turn the crankshaft CCW while watching the points, at their widest, measure with a feeler gauge.
Should be 0.012" to 0.016" After you adjust the gap set the timming, either with static bulb and battery
or with a strobe timing light.
