I think it was 81 that they made one without the high-low gearing. I have a 70, also red, the CT90 plus a spare that I am slowly tinkering with. They are lots of fun and pretty rugged, I weigh 230 or so and it hauls me around without a burp. the later ones are 110cc. I lucked up and got mine for 500 and only spent another 100 getting it running again. Previous owner had done a lot of work on it but parked it when his grand daughter said she wanted to ride side by side with him, so he bought a UTV. The other bike is a 69 that was run pretty hard by a passle of kids on a big farm in east GA, then parked in a barn for 20 yrs. Go looking for one, you'll love it.

Hi,
Off subject, so when I rode my 1981 Passport back in the day, my neighbor friend had a Honda trail 90 or 110 (believe it was an 80 or 81'). One of those red ones.
So I've always wanted to get that year Honda trail bike. When I've looked on craigslist over the years, they always have a high/low gearing. My friend's Honda had a 4 speed transmission with handlebar clutch.
What year/model was that Honda? I'd really like to get one and I remember it rode comfortably at 55-60 mph with that 4-speed.
Thanks,
Chris
