I just got one of these bike recently
I also have the same noise
there is a screw near the rear brake lever on the engine cover
large nut with flat head screw in the middle
its an adjustment
mine came all the way tight so when going into gear it was very ratchety and hard
I ended going like 1 turn loose with the flat head, you lock it down with the large nut
Now it shifts smoother but if I was maybe a little more loose you could hear it slip more when changing into gear
so maybe yours is a touch loose, I have no idea
I just got the service book today so im going to see what it does exactly but I think it changes how hard the clutch engages or something
if anything just mark where its set, do small changes
you could then always go back if you get too far out of adjustment
I found when to tight it was very hard to get into 2nd or 3rd
and sometimes hard to get into 1st downshifting

I just bought a c70 in Portland Oregon and when I put it in first and second I hear the sound of something slipping or not catching, for the split second during the click sound momentum is being lost.I know nothing about engines and this bike is supposed to be learning experience. Thanks in advance.
